GENERAL STUDIO GUIDE
Our studio is very proud to be home to 12 resident tattoo artists.
To maintain the best dynamic and keep our daily work routines as stress free as possible we’ve developed a guide to help out.
We have 7 tattoo beds, therefore each resident shares their workspace.
For this to work as smoothly as possible we will use a shared calendar to make sure there is space for everyone.
How to use the calendar:
Our studio has space for 7 artists simultaneously.
Before closing a date and time with your client check the calendar to see how many artists will be tattooing at the same day and time.
Every artist must communicate their booking to the studio as precisely as possible to avoid their tattoo overlapping with another artists booking time.
IN THE STUDIO:
There is a shared drawing table EXCLUSIVELY for that purpose, please do not eat or drink there.
Food and drinks ONLY in the artists room.
Do not leave your belongings, iPad, Phone, bag laying around the drawing table, couch or around the studio please.
There is a locker room reserved for your belongings.
If you need to put away your Ipad or phone with easy access, store them in your tattoo cart or the artists room.
Don’t charge your equipment around the tattooing rooms, there is a charging station in the artist room.
THE KITCHEN
Food or drinks in the fridge for more than 3 days will be thrown out.
Do not leave dirty dishes in the sink, you clients walk by there for the bathroom and that would reflect badly on the whole studio.
NO SMOKING
To keep our space clean and smelling fresh, smoking only on the patio in the artist room.
Please ask your clients to smoke downstairs.
YOUR CLIENT
Andre will probably be the one to greet your client, if not please:
Help them to put their belongings in the proper place.
This means: hang coats, put away umbrellas and bags in the proper space. If your client has belonggings they kept with them when you bring them to tattoo, do not allow them to leave them on the couch. Advise them to store it in the proper location (hanger behind the door) or bring it with them and store it under you tattoo bed.
Our waiting area is small and to accommodate everyone, clients are NOT ALLOWED to bring anyone else.
The studio prepared a guide for your client so when you book a tattoo please send them this link.
TATTOO
The client stays in the waiting room until it’s time for the stencil placement.
Stencil placement must be done next to your tattoo station not in the stencil room.
After you finish a tattoo, before pictures or anything else, clean the tattoo bed and station.
There might be another artist waiting to start working.
WAITING AREA
The waiting area is your clients first impression of the studio and consequentially your work.
Help keep everything organized and clean.
THANK YOU!
